Three New Directors for Cord Blood Association
Issued: October 6, 2020 The Cord Blood Association has three new directors, elected at the CBA Board of Directors annual meeting:
The new directors, elected to four-year terms, were nominated from a field of 14 candidates recommended by members of the association. They are succeeding three directors who are retiring from the board upon completion of their terms: Arthur Flatau, PhD, patient advocate, Austin, Texas, Joanie Y. Hare, MD, maternal fetal medicine physician, Houston, Texas, and Elaine Hsieh, Chairman and CEO of Sino Cell Technologies, Taipei, Taiwan. The Board of Directors also re-elected the association’s officers for the coming year:
Officers of the association are elected annually by the Board of Directors. “The CBA thanks Art, Joanie and Elaine, our retiring directors, for their dedicated service to the association,” President Kurtzberg said. “And, we look forward to working with the newly elected directors.” |
